A fruity vinaigrette salad dressing is really easy to make, and you don't need a set recipe
Basically, all you need to do is cook the fruit in a little water, then puree/blend/sieve it and add some good quality vinegar
But that's just the basics - you can adapt your dressing to suit your own taste with the addition of other ingredients and by varying the fruitiness
The vinaigrette shown in these photos is made up of apple, strawberries and white wine vinegar.
You could also add various sweet spices, different fruits and use different vinegars for different effects. A spot of sesame oil would add a nice touch, and if you can, try not to add sugar - you really can get used to it
And don't keep it just for salads - they're very tasty on the side of a hot meal too
